Creator's Fire

The fact that you are alive and reading this at this moment is proof that Creator has a plan and purpose for your life. God put you on a path. Perhaps you aren’t walking on that path and maybe you don’t even know what that path is. But He has a path and He will show you.

As the wolf is a hunter and provider, so our men need to provide for their families and give them knowledge.

We just celebrated Winter Solstice. Non-Native people call this day—the first day of winter—as the shortest day. Indigenous people of the North think of it as the longest night.

On this long night, and on most any night just before dawn, we can look up and see the Morning Star—a seven-pointed star. It is there to welcome the dawn—beginning of a new day.

The Sun represents Creator’s fire. Creator created the sun and stars. Just as Creator’s Spirit carries fire (the sun) through the sky, so men are to be the fire keepers, kindling love in life and family.

The Winter Solstice is the day the fire is swept clean and rekindled. Four days later, we celebrated with a feast. Christmas.

We need to learn from our past. Wherever you come from, that’s what you need to follow. We need to respect each others’ ways. Creator has a path we all must follow. No one can do that for us.
