A little bit of faith goes a long way!

Our way of life has been changed in the last few months. Fear has gripped society. Social media and our news channels are bombarding us with all kind of stories, and we don't know what to believe! This tiny virus called COVID-19 has shaken the world!

I wonder what the Lord Jesus would have to say about our response to such pandemic. Perhaps this for starters:

Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God (1 John 5:5).

I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me (John 14:6).

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid (John 14:27).

I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this? (John 11:25-26).

After reading such verses, I am hoping you are challenged to ask yourself, "Where is my faith?" Is what people say, what the news says, and what social media says, more important than what God says?

People are so concerned about their lives right now in every sense of the word-from a health view, entertainment view, relationship view and every other perspective-that maybe they have forgotten to consider the most important words of Jesus Christ Himself.

Be concerned with your soul! Make your relationship with God your first priority. These things are eternal; the rest is very temporary. Do you know your sins to be forgiven through what Jesus Christ did for you at the cross? Are you living by faith in His Word? When we do this, we will know the peace that passes all understanding, in a world that is trying to find peace and value in every way except through the gift of salvation.

Who or what are you trusting in? A little bit of faith does go a long way! Faith in Jesus Christ alone as your Lord and Savior will change the quality of your life forever, all the way to Heaven!

If a microscopic virus can do this much damage, imagine what mustard seed sized faith can do!
