Our vision at Indian Life ministries is to restore hope, healing and honor within indigenous communities through a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. One outreach of Indian Life ministries is that of Intertribal Life newspaper. It is a one-of-a-kind newspaper in North America. That's right. No one else produces what Indian Life does. To God be the glory.
Intertribal Life newspaper is filled with 50 percent Indigenous news and 50 percent gospel truth. That means that if a story is to appear in the Intertribal Life newspaper, it must be hopeful, help in the healing process, or tell of shame turning to honor.
In 2022, Indian Life Ministries delivered over 60,000 copies of Intertribal Life newspaper! It has gone to hospitals, field clinics, libraries, friendship centres, drug and alcohol treatment centres, corrections institutions, schools, churches, businesses, missionaries, individuals, and more. Over 60,000 people read stories of hope. Over 60,000 people read articles that promote healing. And over 60,000 people learned of shameful circumstances being turned into ones of honor.
When you read the Intertribal Life newspaper, you can read it with confidence, knowing you will find stories of hope, healing and honor.
The same is true for our line of books. We have over 20 books that contain real stories of hope, encouragement, overcoming, faith, and heroism. In 2023, one of our goals is to produce an indigenous devotional, written by indigenous followers of Jesus. We have a list of faithful men and women who are working on writing the devotions to encourage you, inspire you and teach you. We are excited to be working on this project, and give the good Lord a thank you for thinking to include Indian Life ministries in such an important work.
Would you please pray for the ministry as the team continues to work hard behind the scenes? We are keenly aware of the Lord's faithfulness in providing for Indian Life. This is a work guided and directed by him. Just as the stories are truly His to tell, so are the finances to direct, and the heart cries of prayers sent heavenward.
